PASSION TO SUCCEED

Born in 1969 and raised in East London, Nigel King left the market stalls of Walthamstow when his first chance to sail came at the age of 18. In the following 25 years Nigel has raced, sailed, coached and managed racing teams at top international level both offshore and inshore.

Offshore, Nigel has competed in crewed events such as the Volvo Ocean Race and Jules Jules Verne trophy, in double handed IMOCA 60 races such as the Transat Jacque Varbe and has spent 3 years racing solo on the Beneteau Figaro II circuit. He has also completed 4 Sydney to Hobart races, 3 Rolex Middle Sea Races and 5 Transatlantic races as skipper or crew MORE....
